EPL: Manchester United shortlist four-man list of players to replace Ronaldo

Manchester United have reportedly put Paris Saint-Saint-Germain’s Neymar on a four-man list of options to replace wantaway forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to the Mirror, apart from Neymar, Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder, Brentford hero, Ivan Toney and Stuttgart forward, Sasa Kalajdzic are other contenders set to replace Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo remains determined to quit Manchester United this summer, despite holding crunch talks with the club’s CEO Richard Arnold in the presence of legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, on Tuesday at Carrington.

The 37-year-old has already made clear his desire to leave the Red Devils this summer.

The Portugal captain missed Man United’s tour of Thailand and Australia for personal reasons and has been training on his own in Portugal.

Man United has already maintained Ronaldo is not for sale this summer.

Ronaldo currently has a year left on his current deal with Man United.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus star has been linked with Atletico Madrid and Chelsea in the past.

However, Atletico Madrid president, Enrique Cerezo has since ruled out any possibility of Ronaldo joining the Spanish club, insisting that it is practically impossible.
