EPL: Saka, Martinelli, Gabriel haven’t trained – Arteta gives injury update

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has given injury updates on key players in his squad ahead of their visit to Manchester City on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Arteta revealed that Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes have not trained this week.

The three players did not represent their respective countries during the international break.

Arteta said: “There’s a chance to see Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhães playing against Man City, yeah.

“They have not trained yet, tomorrow we have another session… but there is a chance they can be part of the squad.”

Arsenal go into the game top of the league and a point ahead of City.
