Former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh has expressed his delight after joining other African football legends to feature at the FIFA Legends Cup in Qatar.
Oliseh featured in the game alongside two other former Nigerian soccer stars, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Perpetual Nkwocha.
Aiyegbeni featured prominently for the Super Eagles during his active days.
Nkwocha was a multiple Women’s AFCON champion and a four-time African Footballer of the Year.
Oliseh tweeted: “Fifa Legends Tournament in Qatar; Had a great time with these African Legends. See if you can name them all and possibly, their countries of origin. It was laughter and joy galore all through.”
Legendary Senegalese players, El-Hadji Diouf, Khalilou Fadiga and Demba Ba were all included for the “African Lions,” along with three more legends who played for Chelsea: Geremi Njitap (Cameroon), Michael Essien (Ghana), and Didier Drogba (Cote d’Ivoire).
Other former African stars, who featured are, Yaya Toure, Robert Kidiaba, Thomas Nkono and Gaelle Enganamouit.
