Former Nigeria 100m champion, Favour Ashe has been arrested on multiple counts of theft and fraud, according to the Auburn Police.
According to www.wtvm.com, the 21 year old student/athlete at Auburn Univrsity he’s being charged with four counts of fraudulent use of a debit/credit card and two counts of theft of property third degree.
‘Auburn Police initially received a theft report on February 4th when a victim reported that multiple items were stolen from a purse near the 100 block of West Magnolia Avenue.

‘A credit card was among the items stolen, and the victim discovered several fraudulent charges were made using the stolen card.
‘Ashe was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $9,000 bond,’ the website reported.
Ashe is the fastest Nigerian over the 60m so far this year at 6.63m and was one of three Nigerian athletes that ran inside 10 seconds in the 100m last year.
