FC Bethel Sporting has fired warning to teams that will be participating at the fast approaching SPOCS scouting tournament in Ikenne, Ogun state, that they are set and in for business as they defeated Emmydinho 2-0, in a recently played tune up game.
The keenly contested friendly duel saw both sides contesting for every ball, with each side refusing to bulge, but FC Bethel Sporting showed their class as they eventually came out the better of both sides at the end of the day.
Bethel’s in form striker, Toheeb Kosoko wasted no time at all when he fired his team into an early lead as quick as two minutes into the encounter.
The free-scoring Kosoko has now scored 4 goals in 5 matches played so far in preparation for the Scouting tournament.
Just as Emmydinho was pressing and pushing for equalizer in the game, FC Bethel Sporting made it 2-0 to put the match to bed and beyond Emmydinho for any hope of a comeback.
The Bethel side is bolstered by National U17 Golden Eaglets midfield player, Ogbabibo Tochukwu and goal keeper Onuorah Divine Chidera who didn’t make the team to Algeria due to MRI scan which screened him out.
The SPOCS Scouting Tournament will hold at the Remo stars stadium at Ikenne, Ogun state from October 2 to October 5, 2023.
