Fear grips Super Falcons coaches as Oshoala is injured

After helping Nigeria’s Super Falcons to win consecutive friendly games during the week, Spanish Iberdrola side FC Barcelona Feminine ace Asisat Oshoala is injured.

The skillful attacker was on target for Nigeria in the first friendly game against Haiti and also played a part in the second against New Zealand.

The Catalan-based side played Atletico Madrid Feminine on Saturday without the Nigeria international.

The club confirmed via its social media handle that Oshoala has discomfort in her left groin.

“Asisat Oshoala has discomfort in her left groin. She is off against Atletico Madrid and pending evolution”, the club.

The game ended 4-0 in favor of FC Barcelona Feminine.
