My Aim Is To Save Cremonese – Dessers

Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Cyril Dessers has confirmed that he aims to see Cremonese survive relegation at the end of the season.

The Nigerian star netted the only goal of the game on Friday in Cremonese’s 1-0 win over Empoli.

While speaking about the game, Dessers admitted that it was a difficult game and further congratulate the defenders for a good job.

“It was wonderful to win here, under our curve. It was a very difficult match, but we did a great job and I’m very happy. I must congratulate our defenders who did a great job.

“Scorer or not, it’s not the most important. I have one goal for the team and that is salvation.

I hope to help with goals, assists, and work,” he said.

Despite the victory, Cremonese remained in the 19th position with 19 points.
