FIFA U20 World Cup: Flying Eagles Depart Nigeria For Argentina

Flying Eagles of Nigeria will on Saturday (today) leave Abuja, Nigeria for Buenos Aires, Argentina for the finals of FIFA U20 World Cup.

The WAFU B champions will arrive at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at 6:00pm but their flight won’t take off until 10:00 pm with a stop-over in Istanbul, Turkey where they will finally leave for Buenos Aires, Argentina on Sunday.

Victor Eletu, AC Milan young star who left Italy on Friday arrived late to join the trip to the World Cup finals.

The head coach, Ladan Bosso said the team will play warm-up matches before their first group game against Dominican Republic.

The two times World Cup finalists are in group B with Dominican Republic, Italy and Brazil. Nigeria will begin the world cup campaign with Dominican Republic before taking on Italy and Brazil in the second and third group games.
