Flying Eagles plan big for AFCON qualifiers

The Flying Eagles plan to open camp in good time outside of Abuja so as to avoid the issue of poor preparation for major tournaments

Coach Ladan Bosso blamed inadequate preparation for the Flying Eagles failure to go past the group stage of the football event of the recent African Games in Ghana.

“Plans have reached an advance stage for a state government to sponsor the team’s camp for at least a month,” an official said

“This will go a long way to ensure the team are better prepared for the U20 AFCON qualifiers.”

The WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifiers will be staged in October.
