Four players of FC Bethel Sporting have been selected by scouts at the just concluded 2026 Jagaban Cup competition which was won by Broad City FC.
The quartet who were impressive all through the tournament, we scooped, caught the eyes of some top European clubs which have placed them under their radar or watchlist.
Notably amongst the selected players are captain fantastic Solomon Friday, Ebuka Emmanuel, Moses Stephen and Chijioke Godwin.

FC Bethel Sporting narrowly missed out in the final of the tournament but settled for the bronze medal after defeating Ikorodu City Academy on penalties after regulation time ended 1-1.
Coach Nathaniel Olagunju, Head coach FC Bethel Sporting, expressed his gratitude to the organisers of the tournament for finding his players worthy and for the opportunity to take their career to the next level.
He praised the Jagaban Cup competition for the high standard they have set for grassroots competition in the country and for the consistency and commitment to change the face of grassroots football in Nigeria.
A total of 23 players were selected from the various teams that participated in the 8-team tournament. Six players each from 36Lion FC and Broad City FC, four from FC Bethel Sporting, two each from Klassisch FC and Ikorodu City Academy and one each from SGFC Athletics and Smart City FC.
