Grassrunners FC have written an emotional farewell message in appreciation of their former coach, Paul Offor who recently moved to join Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Akwa United.
The club thanked Offor who joined them in August last year for his contributions to their project while also making it emphatically clear that Grassrunners is his home and that he can come back anytime he wishes that the doors are widely open for him.
They reckon that it’s a family affair which they believe Offor is going to represent the family well at Akwa United.

The emotional goodbye message signed by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Olugbenga Victor Agbejoye, made available to the media read:
“We want to appreciate you for your contributions to our project, your time here will forever be remembered.
“Please be rest assured that you are welcome anytime here and you can come back whenever you so desire as this is your home which the doors are widely open for you always.
“We would have still loved to have you here but in the interest of the family we decided to let you go knowing that you would represent the family well at Akwa United.
“We wish you the best in your new assignment”, the message concluded.
