The International Handball Federation has released the draw for the 4th edition of the IHF Men’s Emerging Nations Championship in which Nigeria will represent Africa.
Teams are ranked based on results and standings at the end of continental events, IHF tournaments and their participation in IHF events over the past few years.
After four-year issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition is making a comeback in 2023 and will take place in Varna, Bulgaria, from April 25-30.
According to the draw conducted Nigeria will play in group D alongside Azerbaijan and host Bulgaria.
