Says Minister has Given 100% Support to the NFF
Ex-president of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has showered encomiums on the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, describing him as the man the nation’s sports industry has long yearned for.
Pinnick stated that the Minister has demonstrated dexterity and visionary leadership since his assumption of office. Amaju lauded Senator Enoh’s calm approach to leadership and his constant pursuit of peaceful resolution to all types of quagmires in the sports sector.
“God has blessed us with a Minister that is so exceptional; he talks less and acts more,” Amaju said. “In the background he will call Pinnick, call Ibrahim Gusau, always trying to get the solutions to issues. The Honourable Minister is one of the best things to have happened to us in Nigeria.”

Amaju, currently serving as the Vice President of the AFCON Organizing Committee said Nigerian football is currently going through a good period because of the harmonious relationship between the Football Federation and the Sports Ministry, which has paved way for the prioritization of national interests above primordial sentiments.
“When the Minister came on board, some people were raising eyebrows, but when he started showing his good deeds, things became smoother. During my first engagement with him in Uyo, he paid a listening ear, he engaged the NFF president and other stakeholders quietly and today, the result has been 100% support for the NFF.
