Ighalo thrilled to return to Granada

Date:

Spanish Club Granada have appreciated one of their former players and ex- Super Eagles forward, Odion Jude Ighalo.

The lanky attacker, who is currently on the books of Saudi Pro League side Al-Wehdah, was on loan to the Spanish side from Udinese in the 2009/2010 season.

The Nigerian footballer was applauded from the first moment he stepped onto the pitch at Nuevo Los Cármenes.

” Today is one of the happiest day of my life, 10 years later I return to my house, the one that gave me everything,” Ighalo posted on his social media account. “I’m very happy to be here, thank you for supporting this club in all situations.

“And I hope one day my Granada can belong to the Granadians.

”A big hug to all my fans, without doubt, you are the best in the world,” he said

The 35-year-old scored 32 goals in 121 appearances for the club.
