Ighalo’s first half Brace Helps Al Hilal Overcome Al Taawoun 0-3

Odion Ighalo was again on the scoresheet for his Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal in their 3-0 away win against league rivals Al Taawoun in the Saudi Arabian Pro League on Friday night.

Ighalo who has been in superb form since the turn of the year scored twice in the evening to help his team to a big win away to fellow title rivals in Buraidah.

The encounter which was played at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium saw Al Hilal break the deadlock through Ighalo just two minutes past the hour mark.

The 33-year-old AFCON 2019 top scorer then scored his brace on the stroke of halftime as the away side took a two-goal lead into the break.

His 11 league goal of the season and eight in his last eight appearances for the club.

Al Hilal then made it three in the 53rd minutes through Brazilian Micheal before Al Qahtani then rounded off the scoring for away side as they moved above Al Taawoun to 4th on the league table, nine points behind league leaders Al lttihad.
