Injured Bukayo Saka makes Premier League History

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka made Premier League history before he was substituted on Sunday in Arsenal match week 14 clash with Nothingham Forest at the Emirates stadium.

The 20 year old provided the assist for Arsenal’s first goal scored by Gabriel Martinelli on five minutes before he Bukayo Saka limped off to sympathetic applause at the Emirates, straight down the tunnel.

The assist is his 20th in the Premier League in 109 games and makes him the third-youngest player to assist 20 goals in the Premier League after Cesc Fàbregas and Wayne Rooney.

Saka,born to Nigerian parents has scored 21 times in the 109 appearances he has made in the competition since he made his debut in the 2018/19 season.

This season he has scored four times and bagged five assists, the joint second most by any Premier League player with Manchester City’s Bernado Silva and Everton’s Alex Iwobi.
