The Super Eagles of Nigeria played out a 1-1 draw with Russia in an international friendly at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Russia opened the scoring in the first half after Nigerian defender Semi Ajayi inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.

Despite the early setback, the first half remained tightly contested, with both sides showing attacking intent.

Nigeria came out stronger after the break, applying sustained pressure on the Russian defence.

Their persistence paid off when forward Tolu Arokodare netted a well-taken equaliser—his first goal for the national team.

Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages, but neither could break the deadlock.

The draw ensures Nigeria remain unbeaten during their May/June international window.
