Anthony Joshua has declared he will square up against Deontay Wilder in 2023.
Wilder returned to the ring last month and wasted no time dispatching Robert Helenius with a first round knockout.
Joshua is currently taking a break from boxing after two devastating losses to Oleksandr Uysk.
The 33-year-old is interested in fighting Wilder and believes it will come to fruition.
“I think now, he (Wilder) is on a resurgence. I think he is realising that he has got three years left, so he wants to kind of tick off his hit list. Yeah, it will happen now, he’s more than ready now. Why not?”Joshua told iFL TV.
“When I’m ready to ride again I’ll ride out proper, we’ll ride until the wheels fall off,” the boxer said.
“I’ve got myself a timeframe, a duration, I got a hit list and we’ll rock and roll. Everyone’s an option, even that bin man over there’s an option!”
