The tournament’s scouting mission takes center stage on Day 2 with Faith Ikidi-Michael, Maiju Ruotsalainen, Marko Saranlinna, and James Burgin all expected in attendance. The presence of scouts from Finland and Sweden alongside Nigerian legend Ikidi-Michael underscores the Lagos Queens Cup’s goal of creating direct links between local talent and professional clubs abroad.
The Lagos Queens Cup is proudly supported by Lagos State Football Association, 36 Lion Investment, Herizon Sports Initiative, Ayisat Yusuf Football Foundation, Diego Nakamura, Ivory Health Club, and Africa Football Empowerment Congress. Their backing has made it possible to host Nigeria’s first dedicated women’s football scouting tournament and bring credible international exposure to players.
