Chairman of Chekas United Feeders Football Club, Chekwube Uzoegbo has set his eyes on qualifying for the Super four in the ongoing Lagos State League for the 2024/2025 season.
The Ojo based side paid back Lekki Junior Strikers FC in their own coin as they beat them 2-1 at home in a week 11 game of the Lagos State League match played on Wednesday at the CVD Volks field, Ojo, Lagos.
Lekki Junior Strikers who defeated Chekas United Feeders 2-1 in the reverse fixture got their noses in front in the second half before Chekas Feeders rallied back to come from behind to win 2-1, which their chairman said has now set the stage for their Super four chase.
“As you can see, our feeders team is doing their best to make sure they finish in the top two in their conference.

“The main goal is to play in the Super four and also ensure they emerge the overall champions”, he said.
Chekas main team, Chekas United also featured in this year’s Nationwide League Division One which Uzoegbu maintained was not a bad outing being their debut season, despite that they didn’t meet their target.
He stressed that they would return to their drawing board, work harder and make adjustments where necessary to ensure their next season will be better than this season.
“Our performance in the NLO was expected being our debut season.
“What I will just say is that we will go back to our drawing board, put in more work, make adjustments where necessary to guarantee a better season next year”, he concluded.
With the win against Lekki Junior Strikers, Chekas Feeders is among the front-runners in the Atlantic Conference as the league hits home stretch.
