Latest FIFA ranking: Super Falcons move up two spots

Nigeria’s Super Falcons moved up two spots in the latest women’s ranking released by world’s football governing body, the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).

The Falcons moved from 42nd to 40th position in the latest ranking published on FIFA’s official website on Friday.

It is the final ranking before the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand in July.

The Randy Waldrum’s tutored-side maintained first position in Africa.

Alongside the Falcons, the trio of South Africa, Morocco and Zambia will fly Africa’s flag at the women’s World Cup.

The next ranking will be published on August 25, 2023.
