French champions PSG have appointed Luis Campos as their new football advisor.
Campos, a former Lille sporting director was also pursued by the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Arsenal.
He had also worked with Real Madrid with Mourinho and as sporting director at Monaco in 2013.
At Lille, Campos developed and then sold numerous players, including Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel to Arsenal, for a big profit.
A PSG statement read: “Campos will focus on the performance, recruitment, and organisational side of the men’s professional team.
“The club has long attracted the very best talent from the industry and is well placed to benefit from Campos’ insights, knowledge, and experience, to take the team to the next level.”
Campos said: “I am delighted to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, which I consider to be the most ambitious and exciting club in world football.
Campos said he believes strongly in the vision of the French champions and cannot wait to get started in his new role.
