This year’s standouts in athletics will be celebrated over the next couple of months, marking another highly memorable year for the sport. In total, 10 awards will be celebrated on World Athletics social media platforms in November and December.
The nominees for the men’s and women’s World Athlete of the Year Awards were announced earlier this month, along with the finalists for the Fair Play Award. The finalists for the Rising Star of the Year awards will be revealed in the coming days, while the judging process for the Photograph of the Year Award will soon get under way.
