Lorient wants €30m for Moffi, rejects Southampton offer

Lorient has reportedly rejected Premier League side, Southampton’s bid of around €10 million to lure Terem Moffi away from the Ligue 1.

According to Foot Mercato, Lorient wants a higher offer to let the Nigeria international leave the club.

Moffi has two offers on the table from Premier League clubs. One of them presumably from Southampton and the other still unknown.

The offers, according to reports from France were for €15 million and €17 million, but the Ligue 1 club is looking for an offer of around €30 million.

Foot Mercato claims the Nigerian international wants to leave Lorient but will not force a move. Moffi has been one of the best forwards in the league and with plenty of time left in the transfer window, more offers may come in for the striker.
