Liverpool winger, Luis Diaz has returned to training after missing five months of action due to injury.
Diaz sustained a knee injury in October against Arsenal and was ruled out of action for the Reds.
He has now resumed first team training to give Jurgen Klopp’s side a boost ahead of the last 10 games in the Premier League.
Liverpool have struggled for form in his absence and they have a tough run of fixtures with Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea clashes coming up.
“It’s a different situation to last season,’ said Klopp. ‘He came here having played all the games for Porto pretty much and now he’s out with an injury for the second time.
“I can tell you the two sessions he had with us in Dubai, it was like: “Oh my God, how good is that!”
“Then he was injured again. When he is back, he will be really good and very impactful, of course. That is clear.
Diaz is expected to be on the bench when Liverpool take on Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday.
