Man City, Man United, Bayern Munich line up to sign Chelsea’s Kovacic

German champions Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Manchester City are all jostling for the signature of Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

All three clubs want to sign the Croat from the West London side, according to the Guardian.

By the end of the season, the 2022 World Cup semi finalist will enter the final year of his deal, and Chelsea are expected to lose him.

Chelsea’s failure to qualify for the Champions League next season means that several top stars would leave.

Kovacic is likely to depart Stamford Bridge, with the 29-year-old not close to signing a contract extension.

The trio of elite clubs are reportedly keen on the World Cup finalist.
