Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has confirmed that the Scottish Premiership champions have offered Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho a new contract.
Iheanacho became a free agent after his previous contract expired at the end of last season, paving the way for negotiations over his future.

“There’s an offer to him at this minute. So we’ll see how that develops,” O’Neill said.
The 29-year-old played a key role in Celtic’s successful campaign, scoring crucial goals as the club won a domestic league and cup double.
Iheanacho has repeatedly expressed his desire to remain with the Glasgow club.
