Father of Lionel Messi has revealed that he would want his son to return to Barcelona.
It’s been announced by PSG that Messi will leave this summer.
The Argentina captain has a billion euro offer from Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia. But is father, Jorge, admits Messi favours re-signing for Barca.
“I would love Messi to return to Barcelona and it is an option. He wants to go back. It is not known yet,” said Jorge after meeting with Barca president Joan Laporta on Sunday.
He added: “If I trust that he can return? Yes.”
