Mighty Wonderers Fc Emerges Winners At The Delta State Last Team Standing Trials

The Last team standing (Season one) trials for Delta State has come and gone.

The two days trials which took place on Wednesday and Thursday 12th and 13th of July 2023 at the Ogor Technical College Ughelli, had 140 participants of which 28 were females. Mighty Wonderers F.C emerged champions of the state in a rigorous two days’ trial at the technical college. Igho F.C, who have been the cynosure of all eyes eventually lost to the winners by two (2) unreplied goals.

Their female team (Mighty Wonderers Ladies) also won the female trials against Samfam Babes by 3 goals to nothing to emerge the state champions.
The train of LTS will be moving to Port-Harcourt to end the South-South trials of the most talked about football scouting reality TV show, Last Team Standing. The garden city will be agog the whole of next week starting from the 17th to the 20th July 2023.

Present at the Delta state trial was Sam Sodje, an Ex- international player who gave so much encouragement to the football fledglings of the state regarded as “THE BIG HEART “the coach of Warri Wolves Austin Johnny was also present to skemp young talents as it were.

Nigeria and Nigerians will surely benefit from this scouting process which is devoid of godfatherism and the “know me l know you “syndrome.
Awaiting the Last Team Standing crew are the Northern states of plateau, Benue, Gombe, Kano, Kaduna and the F.C.T Abuja.

All the scouted players from these regions will all be in a single house for the reality show sometime in September/October and we will all have the opportunity to watch them train, day in, day out Live on your screens hence vote by ourselves, who the best player is and of course a LAST TEAM STANDING will emerge to project Nigerian football to the top of African football and the world in general.

The mission remains unearthing raw talents and then polish them into beautiful gems. Our former players and legends Daniel Amokachi, Mohammed Lawal, Tijani Babagida and Peterside Idah will be available to instil rudiments of the beautiful game to the selected ones.
Surely there are exciting days ahead for football lovers and Nigerian football as a whole.
