Miller urges Aribo to dump Rangers for Premier League

Date:

Rangers hero, Kenny Miller, has advised Joe Aribo to make a big leap in his career by moving to a Premier League club.

Aribo is a subject of interest from Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.

The versatile midfielder has a year left on his contract with Rangers and is reportedly not willing to sign an extension.

The Nigerian has developed into one of the best midfielders in Europe since arriving at Rangers from Charlton Athletic for just £300,000 in 2019.

Aribo provided nine goals and ten assists for Rangers last season.

Miller believes the time is right for Aribo to try his luck in the Premier League.

“Joe is now at a good age. He has everything a Premier League club would want. With a year left on his contract, teams won’t be stupid with potential bids,” Miller told the Daily Record.

“Rangers will have a valuation of what he’s worth and it’s about whether they can find that common ground with a buyer.

’”I would like to see Aribo’s situation resolved quickly. Either re-sign him on a new deal or if the board are willing to sell, let’s bring in the most money we can.”
