The Minister of Environment, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, has urged Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Musa Gusau, to make use of his wealth of experience as a football administrator per excellence and his track record as sports administrator to revitalise Nigerian football.

The minister stated this when the NFF president paid him (Abdullahi) a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja on Thursday.

The minister formally congratulated Gusau on his election and wished him well. Gusau was elected as NFF helmsman at the football house in Benin City, Edo State capital on September 30, 2022 following the expiration of former president, Amaju Pinnick, tenure.

”I want to formally congratulate you following your emergence as the newly elected NFF President. Your track records as a seasoned sports administrator says it all about you and it is my believe that you can replicate same kind of man-management skills during your time as Zamfara State Sports Commission and the Chairman of Chairmen in the immediate past NFF Executive Committee.
