Moffi makes swift return to training after injury scare

Date:

OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi is set to make a swift return to full training this week, dispelling earlier speculations of a hamstring injury.

It was feared the Forward could miss next year’s Africa Cup of Nations with the injury, but latest reports reveals there isn’t much to worry about.

Moffi’s absence from the Le Havre game was merely a precautionary measure due to a minor injury and not serious hamstring as widely reported.

Super Eagles Head Coach Jose Peseiro can now breathe a sigh of relief as the Nice striker gears up for a timely comeback.

Peseiro is expected to name his final 27 man squad for the tournament billed for January 2024 in Ivory Coast later this month.
