Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could be back this weekend to make his 180th Premier League appearance when the Foxes host Tottenham Hotspur in a matchweek 23 fixture at the King Power stadium.
The 26 year old has missed Leicester City’s last two games due to injury after featuring for 90 minutes in the Foxes’ 2-0 loss at Nothingham Forest last month but Brendan Rodgers, his coach has revealed the Super Eagle is in contention against Antonio Conte’s men on Saturday.
“Ndidi is back in training and hopefully should be fine for the weekend,” said Rodgers at his pre-match presser on Thursday.
The Nigerian has featured 14 times for the Foxes this term and has started 10 of the games.
He will now be looking forward to make his 180th appearance in the competition since he switched RKC Genk of Belgium for Leicester City in January 2017.
If the Nigerian returns, it will also be his 225th game for the Foxes.
It will also be his 10th game against the visitors and he has started all the nine games he has featured in so far against the north London side.
