NFF to constitute new boards For NPFL, NNL, others

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that new boards will be set up for the country’s various leagues in a month.

The announcement was made in a communique from the Secretariat in Abuja.

The leagues are the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) and the Nationwide League (NL0)

Currently, the NPFL is being run by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) headed by Gbenga Elegbeleye.

The heads of these leagues were previously appointed, but the NFF Statutes stipulate they be elected.
