Nigeria Adeagbo Simidele won Monobob World Series Bobsleigh Winterberg

Nigeria Adeagbo Simidele has set a new record in the Women’s Monobob World Series Bobsleigh Winterberg 2021/22 with official and final result 1.00.49 and 1.00.51 with total of .01.00 to top the table.

Meanwhile POPESCU Georgeta came second with 1.00.76 and 1.00.76 with total of 2.01.52 behind Nigeria.

Ukraine HUNKO Lidiia  ended in third position after running 1.01.16 and 1.01.07 with total of 2.02.23 in both heat one and two.

SLUPECKA Julia  from Poland picked the fourth ticket after recording 1.01,39 and 1.01.37 respectively

While  COPAIN Camila  from France also maintained the fifth position after running 1.02.46 and 1.02.27 with total of 2.04.73 to qualify.

Adeagbo's victory came on the same day as the coaches of Ghanaian skeleton athlete Akwasi Frimpong made a last-ditch attempt to get the IOC restore continental spots in bobsleigh and skeleton for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics
