Nigeria U23 Star Promise David Signs for Belgian Top Side, Union Saint-Gilloise

Date:

Union Saint-Gilloise has secured the signature of Nigeria U23 star Promise David, following an impressive season in the Estonian Premium Liiga. The Nigerian striker scored 14 goals in 16 appearances for Kalju FC, catching the attention of scouts across Europe.

Promise ‘Tobi’ David is now set to make his mark in the Belgian Pro League with Union Saint-Gilloise. His move to Belgium is seen as a significant step forward in his career, as he follows in the footsteps of Victor Boniface, who previously played for USG and won the highest goal scorer award.

David’s journey to Union Saint-Gilloise began from humble beginnings in the Maltese league, moving through Estonia, and now landing in Belgium. His consistent performance and goal-scoring prowess have made him a standout player in the Premium Liiga.

David has also represented Nigeria at the U23 level, earning his place in the team under coach Salisu Yusuf. His move to USG is expected to provide him with a larger platform to showcase his talents and continue his development as a top striker.

Union Saint-Gilloise fans will be eager to see David in action, hoping he can replicate the success of Boniface and contribute significantly to the team’s ambitions in the Belgian Pro League.
