Nigeria vs Ghana: Black Stars touch down in Abuja ahead of crucial decider

Players and officials of the Ghana national team have arrived in Abuja today, ahead of tomorrow’s crucial 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.

The Otto Addo-led team will train this evening at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, to get a feel of the venue ahead of the game.

The West African rivals played out a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The Black Stars will come up against 60,000 Nigerian fans at the national stadium, after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) granted the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)’s request to have the stadium at full capacity.

The Eagles need an outright win to qualify for the World Cup, while a score draw will see Ghana clinch a ticket to Qatar 2022.
