Nigerian forward Sylvester Igboun, leaves NorthEast United over poor accommodation

Former Super Eagles forward, Sylvester Igboun has left Indian Super League club, North East United due to poor housing conditions.

Igboun joined North East United early this month.

The pacy striker made one appearance for the modest club.

He featured as a substitute in the 3-1 defeat to East Benghal.

“Sly has left the club facilities due to poor accommodation. He was very disappointed to see the state of place that the club provided him,” a source within the club told Khel Now.

“Apparently many players are unhappy with the living conditions. But, Sylvester Igboun was the one who chose to walk out first.”
