Nottingham Forest lines up £20m bid for Dennis

Nottingham Forest is looking to bolster their attacking options by signing Emmanuel Dennis from Sky Bet Championship club, Watford.

Dennis has been tipped to leave the Vicarage Road following Watford’s relegation from the Premier League last season.

The Nigerian scored 10 goals and recorded six assists in 33 league appearances for the Hornets last term.

According to The Sun, Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper is determined to bring in a striker despite already signing Dennis’ international teammates, Taiwo Awoniyi and Jesse Lingard.

Watford would prefer to make a swift sale but Forest would prefer to loan Dennis, with an option to buy.

Dennis linked up with Watford from Belgian Pro League, Club Brugge last summer for £3m.

Watford now wants £20m to sell the talented striker.
