NPFL goes on three-week break for general election

The Nigeria Premier Football League will proceed on a three-week break after matchday nine matches this weekend.

The move will afford the players and officials the chance to take a well- deserved rest after a hectic first half campaign.

The General Election is scheduled for Saturday, February 25 and March 11 2023.

The second stanza of the abridged league will commence on March 18.

Matchday nine matches will be played across ten different centres on Saturday and Sunday.

The 2022/23 NPFL season will end in May.
