NPFL increases indemnities for Match officials

Match officials in the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will see a 50% increase in their salaries, as announced by NPFL Chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye.

The salary boost is aimed at promoting fair and credible officiating in the league.

Elegbeleye also revealed that discussions are underway to arrange air transportation for referees and players to enhance their travel experience.

The new NPFL season kicks off this Saturday with defending champions Rangers hosting EL-Kanemi Warriors in the opening match in Enugu.
