NSF Delta 2022: Lagos Beat Cross Rivers, Face Delta In Q’finals

The Lagos State Table-tennis team proved their superiority against Cross Rivers, winning 3-0 in the team event to set up Quarter-finals clash with team Delta in the ongoing 2022 National Sports Festival in Asaba.

The duo of Rilwan Akanbi and Adegoke Muizz were the cynosure of all eyes, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
Despite the fact that,Rilwan Lost his first single game to Orok Etim, they came behind to snatch the show.

In the men’s doubles,Muizz and Augustine knocked their opponents from Cross Rivers 3-0 before Akanbi rounded off Ekpo 3-0.

Muizz defeated Akabom Ekpo in the singles 3-0 and their next game is against team Delta in the last eight phase.

Lagos Ezekwudo John won Lawal Sodiq from Oyo State 3-1, In the men’s singles round -one, while in another men’s singles Awosanya Babatunde triumphed 3-2 in a contest between Amole Adegoke from south-West,Oyo State.
