Stanley Nwabali has been given a nod to feature for Nigeria’s Super Eagles against Angola’s Black Antelopes in Friday’s quarter-final cracker, SportsDayOnline.com reports.
The shot-stopper was a major doubt for the match no thanks to a mild ligament injury cropped in Nigeria’s victory against Cameroon in Round of 16 clash.
The 27-year-old Nwabali has now recovered from the injury setback and was back in full training with teammates at the Police College, Cocody, Abidjan on Wednesday night.

Intrestingly, Nwabali has been beaten just once in four appearances for Nigeria at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The three-time African champions will tackle Angola’s Black Antelopes in Friday’s quarter-final cracker at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
