Nigeria Women Football League day 7 recorded one of the surprise results of the season as the defending champions Bayelsa Queens suffered a home defeat to the visiting Delta Queens.

After a scoreless first half, Chinaza Agoh netted the opening goal for Delta Queens before Chinyere Igbomalu levelled up later in the game.

Agoh completed her brace and sealed the game for away the side.

Chioma Moses netted the only goal of the game as Confluence Queens secured a 0-1 away over Ibom Angels.

Two first-half goals from Lucky Mary and Chizoba Orji gave Heartland Queens a 2-0 win over Osun Babes.
