Oghenebrume’s men’s SEC runner of the Week for second straight week

Godson Oghenebrume has been named Southeastern Conference, SEC Runner of the Week.

The 19 year old was recognised because of his performance at the LSU Invitational where he clocked a wind-aided 10.01w to win the star-studed 100m race.

Oghenebrume also anchored the LSU 4x100m team to win in an impressive 38.26 which ranks number four in the world, number two in LSU history, number five in collegiate history, and is a Bernie Moore stadium record.

This is Oghenebrume’s second SEC weekly honour of the season, earning one last week along with his USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week honor.
