Oliseh, Eguavoen, Amuneke linked to Super Eagles job as Peseiro quits

At least four former Nigeria internationals have been linked with the national team job, after Jose Peseiro confirmed he is leaving on Friday.

Peseiro, in a statement posted on social media, bid farewell to the role days after he said he was taking a break.

Finidi George, who worked with the Portuguese at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as an assistant, is one of those being considered as a replacement, even on a temporary basis.
