Osimhen’s depature may pave way for Kulusevski

Date:

The sale of Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen could pave the way for Napoli to sign Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski in the summer.

According to Radio Kiss Kiss via TEAMtalk, the Serie A defending champions want to sign the Sweden international who will reportedly cost not less than £43m.

Kulusevski is highly rated by Antonio Conte who will potentially be Napoli’s new manager in the summer and the Italian outfit are planning to make the Spurs star one of their first signings under the former Chelsea boss.

The 23-year-old’s old contract with Tottenham ends in 2028 and is a pivotal player for the north-London club, which could make a return to the Serie A tricky.

Napoli will not be financially restrained in the coming transfer window as they are expecting a windfall from the sale of Osimhen.

The Nigeria international will cost between €120m to €130m which puts Napoli in a good financial condition to pursue their summer targets including Kulusevski.

The battle for the signature of the star striker is between Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG at the moment though the 25-year-old has declared his intention to play in the Premier League which could bolster the hopes of his suitors in England.
