Paris 2024 Olympic: Brume promises to rebound from disappointing performance

Nigeria long jump star Ese Brume has vowed to recover from her disappointing performance at the 2024 Olympic Games.

A top medal prospect for Nigeria in Paris, the 27-year-old failed to meet expectations and finished fifth.

Despite winning bronze three years ago and being a Commonwealth champion, Brume struggled due to an injury.

“To be honest, it was an amazing experience for me,” Brume told Making of Champions.

“Looking back to where I’m coming from, I didn’t compete much this year because of injuries.

“Even up to today, I also competed with an injury, but I’m glad that I made it this far. I’m happy with myself and thankful to God.”
