Asisat Oshoala believes the Super Falcons have a strong chance to clinch a medal at the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The Nigerian team, nine-time African champions, is set to make their Olympic return after a 16-year hiatus.
Drawn into a challenging group alongside Spain, Japan, and Brazil, Randy Waldrum’s squad faces a daunting task.

Nonetheless, Oshoala remains optimistic about their prospects for podium success.
“I have a lot of confidence in this team. We have many young players and we can make things difficult for our opponents.
“We don’t just think about getting out of the group, I think we can actually walk away with a medal.”
The Super Falcons will open their campaign against Brazil at the Matmut Atlanque, Bordeaux, on Thursday.
