The Imo State Police Command has recorded a major breakthrough in its crackdown on crime, arresting 75 suspected armed bandits for various offences within the past one month.
Commissioner of Police, Audu Garba Bosso, disclosed this on Wednesday during a press briefing at the command headquarters in Owerri, attributing the arrests to proactive, intelligence-driven operations carried out in collaboration with other security agencies and community stakeholders.

“We’ve recorded substantial recoveries, including three AK-47 rifles, three magazines, 65 rounds of live ammunition, two locally made pistols, one Beretta pistol, and six stolen motorcycles,” CP Bosso said.
